Matt Koziol’s official release for the CD “Heart On The Line” was this past Sunday at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, NJ. Whether solo or with full band, I have always been impressed with Matt as a performer. The band was especially tight Sunday night though. The room filled with the energy attached to the excitement of the new album. For those of you who were not able to attend or didn’t stop to pick up a copy of the album, you can download it on iTunes now. Pictures from the night will be available on Flickr as soon as I get a chance to sort through them all. Stay tuned to Twitter for more updates on that, as well as future dates you can check Matt out live.

CMJ Day 5 in Photos
This morning I gave you my recap of the final day of CMJ, thinking I would not be able to get around to posting photos until earliest tomorrow morning. Well, folks, I was kinda wrong there (alright, technically it’s 12:30am, but I wrote most of this before going to Muse. Just had to add labels). I’ve gotta say, I am really impressed with how on top of things I’ve been this week. The version of me that first started this blog would have just done a very short post at the end of CMJ instead of the daily recaps I ended up doing. I have enjoyed getting more of an opportunity to write about the things I love the most, and only hope I can keep doing it in the long term. So – without further ado – here is the final installment of my continuing coverage of CMJ from this week.
Union Couty Music Fest
This past weekend Clark, NJ was lucky enough to host the Union County Music Festival. Your blogger was only able to attend on Saturday, but there were some great acts on both days. Some of the ones I got to check out included Matt Koziol, Bern and the Brights, Jesse Malin, The Bravery, OK Go, and Train. Matt Koziol played a fun set to a handful of people. The crowd size increased slowly as the day progressed, reaching insane levels by the time OK Go and Train were ready to perform. The day was a lot of fun and provided me with 10+ hours of free live music. I’m looking forward to attending again next year.
